See All ReviewsQuiet little pizzeria with low and high tables. They have several "house pizzas" to choose from that are predetermined toppings, or you can build your own. I built my own 10" pizza with pepperoni, salami, sausage, green and red peppers, and jalapenos. The ingredients were fresh tasting and the dough was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside, just right! The staff were super friendly and made the pizza with a smile! Will definitely go back here for more pizza!
We were very excited to see a new pizza place in the area so the day after they opened, we picked up a pepperoni & bacon, along with a strawberry dessert. Then last week, they posted about a birria pizza! This is one of our favorite meals, so we had to try. While the crust at this pizza place is undeniably delicious – boasting a perfect balance of crispy exterior and pillowy softness within – the toppings, or rather the lack thereof, left much to be desired. It's as if they were playing a game of hide-and-seek, with the ingredients being the reluctant hiders. Upon opening these pizzas, I couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment as I surveyed the sparsity of toppings scattered across the doughy canvas. It was akin to stumbling upon an oasis in the desert, only to find a few droplets of water teasingly dispersed across the sand. Sure, the cheese was there, clinging to the surface like a lone survivor in a barren wasteland. And yes, I did manage to detect the faint presence of sauce, like a whisper in the wind. But where were the vibrant medley of vegetables, the savory slices of meat, the flavorful accents that elevate a pizza from mere dough and cheese to a culinary masterpiece? It's a shame, really, because with a crust this commendable, one would expect toppings to complement and enhance its excellence. Instead, they seemed to have been treated as an afterthought, a mere formality in the pizza-making process. We tried to avoid creating a Google review and just left a comment under the birria post, but they took it down. It’s very childish to act that way when everyone has been so pleasant in person. In conclusion, while I can't deny the prowess of their crust-making skills, the sparse toppings left me feeling unsatisfied and longing for more. It's like having a beautifully wrapped gift, only to discover it's filled with nothing but air. As a business owner who deals with the public, you can’t let your ego or thin skin prevent you from realizing how great you could be. Don’t make excuses, just say you’ll try to do better.
**Carolina Crust and Company: A Delightful Experiene My experience at **Carolina Crust and Company** left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment we stepped in, the friendly staff welcomed us with warm smiles, setting the tone for a memorable meal. **Food Highlights:** 1.**10" Cheese Pizza:** The cheese pizza was a delightful blend of gooey mozzarella and a perfectly crisp crust. Pizza sauce was great also, Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and I couldn't get enough. 2. **10" White Hot Pizza:** The White Hot pizza was a revelation! The combination of spicy toppings and creamy cheese was a match made in pizza heaven. It had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the other flavors. P.S your fingers will get sticky from the honey . 3. **Caesar Salad:** The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp, and generously dressed. The tangy dressing complemented the crunchy sweet croutons making it a refreshing side to our pizzas. **Overall Impression:** Carolina Crust and Company deserves every bit of its 5-star rating.
